Placement Group Calgary is currently recruiting Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for our client; a world leader in the sales and service of snow grooming equipment. Ideal candidates for this position will have either Alberta Journeyman or Interprovincial certification.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for high quality diesel engine disassembly, rebuilding and service.
• Engine computer diagnostics, repair and service.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Maintaining an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Mechanical Repair Specialization:
• Mechanical transmissions
• Drive trains and final drives
• Hydraulic transmissions
• Vehicle brake systems.
Compensation:
• To be negotiated.
