• Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM for an important Volunteer Orientation.
• Friday, September 18 2009 from 7:15AM – 5:00 PM for the Event Day.

WANTED: Knitting & Crocheting supplies your creative talent
Do you like to help the community? Do you crochet, knit, sew, quilt or put squares together? We have a chapter here in Calgary and we can use your creativity. We are looking for volunteers that can help us make warm items for the shelters in Calgary. There is a need out there and without our volunteers we can accomplish nothing and the needs of Calgary’s needy families and shelters will go unfulfilled. There is no such thing as too many volunteers. We are 100% volunteer based project and also we are (a 501(c)(3) charity) non-profit organization. We are also looking for any donations that you might have and don't use anymore. Yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles or any material we will even take your unfinished projects. Volunteers Needed for Depression Research!!
Have you suffered from depression in the past? Would you like to contribute to research for a better understanding of depression?
Researchers at the University of Calgary are looking for people who:
1. Have experienced at least one episode of Major Depression.
2. Are not currently depressed.
3. Are between the ages of 18 and 65.
